Paint finish imperfections - pictures worth a thousand words

We took this photo of a retired vehicle that was brought to use to detail the finish.

Before we got started we took this image of the paint. Notice the imperfections that appear as strafing and scores, while they may not be visible to the naked eye, you can gel the roughness with your hands by running it over the finish.

This is the vehicle but from a distance.  We have yet finished removing the imperfections yet. Then we will be adding a Ceramic Coating and it'll be blazing.

It looks okay now but wait till we get 'er completed.

Clear Coating: proven science technique to preserve the finish of your vehicle

Clear Coating: proven science technique to preserve the finish of your vehicle
What is a Ceramic Clear Coating?

Opti-Coat is a hard wearing, ceramic clear coat for superior resistance to scratching (9H) and protection from chemical etching due to environmental impacts.

The Opti-Coat pre-polymer cross links, and forms a continuous protective film on the painted surface it is applied to, similar to a single component isocyanate that forms a clear coat finish.

Opti-Coat has better chemical resistance, scratch & mar resistance, and release properties than any automotive paint coating in use. It provides long lasting protection for all modern factory paints and can also be used to protect metal and hard plastic surfaces.

Opt-Coat: is a highly technical product that requires certification to install because it provides a quality and protection that exceeds and out lasts waxes, polishes, or finish enhancement products.
